As self taught videographer, I pride myself in capturing special moments through my lense. I have always been a creative soul and my passion for videography started with me documenting my travels.
My name is Brett Anderson and I’m so thrilled to find you interested in my work! I am a self taught filmmaker/videographer. I pride myself in capturing jaw dropping moments and creating videos that will make you laugh/cry/smile and give you goosebumps. I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where I grew up playing every sport I could (especially basketball), spending my summers working at my cabin in Clear Lake and winters making very amateur snowboarding videos with my friends.
I have always been a creative soul and my passion for videography started with me documenting my travels. After years of making personal videos of my friends and I travelling, I began getting companies reach out to me who had seen my work. This is the moment my passion, turned into my entire life.
After attending the University of Manitoba and graduating Asper School of Business with a major in accounting, I began working at the accounting firm KPMG. I entered into the CPA program and after two long years I successfully obtained my designation! While I was trying to juggle the hours of being an accountant and follow my passion, my business began to grow too big where I could no longer do both. I then decided to make the biggest decision of my life ….. Quit my job as an accountant and become a full time freelance videographer/filmmaker/creator...... whatever you want to call it, this is what I do, and I LOVE every minute of it.
